The Never Ending Lying Hypocrisy of Regime Change Peddler Moazzam Begg

‘No one should be surprised a direct spawn of shameless British Raj bootlickers was involved in CIA-Mi5 backed regime change operations.’

A brazen minority among British-Pakistanis are literally roaming the streets of Britain raping working class girls on an obscene industrial scale. Troubled girls in their hundreds, if not thousands, as young as twelve years old were plied with alcohol and drugs and turned into sex slaves for paedophiles to horrifically sexually abuse, others “marry” their abusers, others have had their babies, so it is only natural that British-Pakistani political icon, Outreach Director of Cage advocacy organisation and former Guantanamo Bay detainee, Moazzam Begg continues to focus his righteous efforts to peddle Syrian regime change propaganda even after the CIA backed operation has now come to fruition with the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad government and installation of a pro-western, pro-Zionist government headed by former ISIS, former al-Qaeda leader, Abu Muhammad al-Jolani a.k.a President Ahmad al-Sharaa. This essay argues Begg should focus on the moral sickness closer to home before making unsubstantiated accusations about others.

On one of Begg’s latest trips to post-Assad Syria he amplified the accusations of ‘mass rape’ aimed at the former Syrian government. This time he promoted the accusation that the previous government officials were involved in the sexual assault of imprisoned Palestinians. He has further claimed that Syria’s prisons under the previous government put Guantanamo Bay in the shade ie “relatively tame”. Begg had previously made ‘mass rape’ allegations in an interview with British Bengali journalist Dilly Hussain when it had looked like the Syrian government had fought off the western backed regime change operation. Back then he claimed that in Libya and/or Syria “sisters were raped en masse”. There is scant evidence for this, if any. However, there is a plenitude of evidence of Pakistanis raping women and girls “en masse” in both Pakistan and Britain. One report states that over a half million children in Pakistan are raped annually. There is only one Muslim majority country that is notorious for its ‘mass rape culture’ and that country wasn’t either Syria under Bashar al-Assad or for that matter Libya under Colonel Gadhaffi. During Bangladesh’s War for Independence in the early 1970s the Pakistani occupation forces and its allies is said to have raped at least two hundred thousand women.

Highly dubious rape allegations to support regime change are not the only allegations Begg should be held to account for. When it looked like the Syrian government had defeated the regime change operation in 2019, Begg claimed that one of the reasons this had then transpired was because the “rebels” in Syria had received minimal international assistance. Although even then it was known the CIA had funded the destabilisation and overthrow of the Syrian state to the tune of £1 billion a year, Begg claimed or implied this was used mainly to combat the Islamic State/ISIS alone. As he said to Dilly, “…this time around the Americans have been supporting against ISIS and ISIS only, not against the government…” This is far from true. It is well known that one of the consequential weapons that proved to be a game changer was the anti-tank TOW guided missile. This weapon could ultimately and only have come from the United States. When the so-called “rebels” conquered Idlib province and other northern areas in a de facto alliance with al-Qaeda, it was in no small measure because of these missiles and the jihadis concurrently employing suicide bombers. Begg is at the very least incorrect; at most he is lying about American support for regime change in Syria between 2012 and 2019. Obviously, the $1 billion budget the Americans showered on their Syrian proxies wasn’t limited to TOW missiles.

Not only can we consider Moazzam Begg economical with the truth but there is an argument that he is a shameless hypocrite. One of the British media champions of the “Syrian Revolution” was and is the Zionist Charles Lister who wrote a book called, the “Syrian Jihad”. In this book the Zionist clearly has corresponded or interviewed Moazzam Begg about his heroic shenanigans in Syria. Obviously, it’ll never occur to Begg or a Begg groupie to ask why would a Zionist support the so-called “Syrian Revolution”. But for rational people it’s obvious that the Zionist, like other Zionists, supported the “Syrian Revolution” because he saw an opportunity to enhance “Israel’s” security, expand its borders and provide a free hand for Zionist forces to employ in southern Syria. Getting rid of the then Syrian government would also help stop the transfer of weapons from Iran to Hizbollah, an anti-resistance group which had liberated southern Lebanon in 2000 and defeated Israel again in 2006. When Madeline Albright, the former American Secretary of State, who said 500,000 dead Iraqi children was “worth it” during the sanctions regime of the 1990s, Lister mourned her death, i.e “What a loss”. When Zionists finally killed the Palestinian resistance leader Yahya Sinwar during the Gaza genocide, Lister claimed his “death will bring solace to many” and only a fool would not know who the “many” Lister is here thinking of. Before travelling to Syria in 2012-2013, Begg had met with British intelligence organisation, Mi5 about his journey in a hotel. So another dimension to their discussion, since it is obvious Lister and Begg don’t mix in the same social circles, is who put them in touch with each other?

Ever since coming to power the former al-Qaeda leader, al-Jolani in Syria, now President al-Sharaa of Syria has made overtures to the Zionist colonial-project in Palestine. Among these overtures is that Jolani wants to hand over files belonging to the Zionist spy Eli Cohen who was hanged in Damascus in 1965. According to a Reuters report, the files were personally offered by Jolani to the Zionists as “he seeks to cool tensions” with the Zionist entity. Other overtures include holding a press conference with the former head of the CIA David Petraeus who was also a leading General in the war on Iraq. Jolani also met one of the main architects and supporters of the Gaza genocide, current Secretary of State, Marco Rubio as well as President Trump. In between these meetings he met with one of Benjamin Netanyahu’s previous chief financial backers, billionaire neo-conservative Ronald Lauder who is the chairman of the Jewish Heritage Council. Jolani has no issues with Israel militarily targeting supposed Iranian or Hizbollah assets in Syria during the genocide on Gaza. Jolani had already been welcomed by one of the leading champions of the Gaza genocide, the then German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock within a month of coming to power. Baerbock has openly justified the killing of civilians in Gaza. It is no surprise then that Jolani recently boasted that one of the benefits of the “Syrian Revolution” was the removal of Iranian backed groups and Hizbollah which had posed a threat to Israel.  And it doesn’t end here. It is now reported that one of Tony Blair’s chief architects in manufacturing the consent for war in Iraq in 2003, Jonathan Powell has an office in Jolani’s Presidential palace which employs British-Syrian regime advocate Razzan Saffour. Indeed, in the month after Jolani came to power, his Foreign Minister, Hassan al-Shibani was interviewed at one of global capitalism annual conferences, the World Economic Forum, by none other than Tony Blair himself. Based on these facts one can safely argue that what took place in Syria wasn’t a “Blessed Revolution” as promoted by deluded and bearded western Muslims but a western backed regime change operation to install a pro-Zionist government in Syria, or at the very least, a government that is no longer hostile to the Zionist-colonial genocide entity occupying Palestine.

So far, the crowning glory of the CIA-Mi5 regime change operation is not only Israel occupying more of southern Syria but Zionist-colonial settlers marching freely in Damascus in the same month Begg is on another of his jaunts in the Syrian capital peddling the ‘Syrian prisons worse than Guantanamo Bay’ line. The timing was obviously pure coincidence.

For those of us who’ve made an attempt to study Begg’s autobiography, it is no surprise he is involved in pro-Western regime change operations. This author’s reading of Begg’s biography provides evidence that he is a bona fide grandchild of shameless, cheap, colonial white supremacist bootlickers who did the British Raj’s bidding. Begg’s grandfathers during the era of British ruled India would never have understood any fellow Indian, Muslim or Hindu, who didn’t prostitute themselves to the British Raj as “soldiers” i.e colonial mercenaries for the British Empire. Likewise, their direct spawn, Moazzam Begg will never understand those of us who saw through the western backed propaganda for regime change in Libya and Syria in 2010s. The rotten apple has not dropped far from the treacherous tree.

In conclusion, Moazzam Begg hitherto doesn’t have the moral character or sincerity to ask why western leaders who have supported the Gaza genocide enthusiastically welcomed Jolani to power in Syria. And before Begg makes unsubstantiated, baseless and dubious allegations of ‘mass rape’ in Libya and/or Syria to in effect support CIA-Mi5, pro-Zionist, regime change operations, he should begin with helping to expose the real mass rape culture of his native Pakistan which has now malignantly spread to Britain.
